Si terrà presso il Castello del Valentino a Torino dal 19 al 21 Ottobre 2016 la Seconda Conferenza Internazionale MetroArcheo - Metrology for Archaeology and Cultural Heritage. La Conferenza riunisce scienzati conservatori di università, istututi di ricerca, musei, gallerie, biblioteche, archeivi, piccole e medie imprese.
Il programma della Conferenza è concepito per favorire lo scambio di idee e di informazioni, creare connessioni e collaborazioni, aggiornarsi sull'innovazione nelle misure disponibili per i beni culturali tra gli scienziati dei materiali, i chimici, i fisici, gli ingegneri, gli archeologi, i conservatori, i restauratori etc..
La Conferenza includerà anche una "Live Demonstration - DEMOS" per consentire forme di presentazione inerattive e tangibili.

Call for papers
METROARCHAEO2106 wants to gather together Heritage scientists in universities, research institutions, museums, galleries, libraries, archives, small and medium enterprises.
The conference program is conceived to foster exchanges of ideas and information, make connections and collaborations, update innovation on “measurements” suitable for Cultural Heritage among material scientists, chemists, physicists, engineers, archaeologists, conservators, restorers, etc..
METROARCHAEO2016 will include "Live Demonstration - DEMOS" tracks to allow interactive and tangible forms of presentation.
The 2nd edition of the conference will be held in Torino, Italy. All the information will be published soon on: www.metroarcheo.com

CONFERENCE PAPERS
All of accepted papers will be included in Proceedings of IMEKO International Conference on Metrology for Archaeology and Cultural Heritage being uniquely identified by ISBN.
Special issues of Measurement - Journal of International Measurement Confederation (IMEKO) and of ACTA IMEKO will be published after the conference. They will contain papers selected on the basis of the results of regular peer review of the manuscript. The manuscript must be significantly extended beyond the scope of the proceedings paper in terms of the overall technical content and research results.
