Il 9 Giugno a Washington DC si svolgerà la conferenza organizzata da EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) dal titolo "Digital Media and the Challenge of Safeguarding Cultural Heritage: New Ways of Knowing about Our Past". La conferenza si concentrerà su come le nuove tecnologie della comunicazione (ICT) stanno giocando un ruolo importante sulla comprensione e la conservazione del patrimonio culturale, portando a nuove possibilità e modi di comunicare.
L'evento fa parte del ciclo di conferenze Protecting Our Heritage dell'Unione degli Istituti Europei di Cultura e del suo network a Washington D.C., organizzato con SPAIN arts & culture, il programma culturale dell'Ambascaita Spagnola degli Stati Uniti, con la collaborazione dell'Ambasciata Italiana e dell'Istituto Italiano di Cultura e della New York University (NYU) Washington, D.C.

Digital Media and the Challenge of Safeguarding Cultural Heritage: New Ways of Knowing about Our Past
It will be on June 9, 2016 in Washington DC the Conference "Digital Media and the Challenge of Safeguarding Cultural Heritage: New Ways of Knowing About Our Past" will focus on how new Information and Comunication Technologies (ICT) are already playing an important role on the understanding and preservation of cultural heritage, bringing new possibilites and ways of communication.
This event, part of the Protecting Our Heritage series run by the European Union Institutes of Culture and its network in Washington D.C., is organized by SPAIN arts & culture, the cultural program of the Embassy of Spain across the United States, with the collaboration of the Embassy of Italy, the Italian Cultural Institute and New York University (NYU) Washington, D.C.
