Per problemi organizzativi la conferenza ART’17 prevista adal 7 al 9 Marzo 2017 in Sharjah è stata spostata e posticipata in Italia probabilmente durante la seconda parte del 2017.
L'Associazione Italiana Prove non Distruttive (AIPnD) organizza, insieme all'American University of Sharjah (AUS) e l'ICCROM-ATHAR (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property - Architectural and Archaeological Tangible Heritage in the Arab Region), la Conferenza Internazionale ART’17 sulle indagini non distruttive e la microanalisi per la diagnostica e la conservazione del patrimonio culturale e ambientale, che si terrà a Sharjah, negli emirati Arabi Uniti, dal 7 al 9 Marzo 2017.
Le analisi non distruttive si sono rivelate essere un metodo cruciale per raggiungere una più efficace e duratura conservazione delle opere d'arte e del patrimonio ambientale. Con l'obiettivo di promuovere la formazione e competenza in questo campo, il logo "arte" è stato creato più di venticinque anni fa e rappresenta ancora, in incontri nazionali ed internazionali, una delle iniziative di maggior successo in questo settore. La desiderata sinergia tra gli esperti porterà allo continuo sviluppo di nuovi metodi scientifici nel campo della conservazione, della ricostruzione e della diagnostica di opere d'arte culturali e ambientali.
L'ultima edizione della "Conferenza Art" si è tenuta a Madrid nel giugno 2014 e ha promosso la cooperazione tra i diversi specialisti provenienti da tutto il mondo e ha rafforzato in particolare il rapporto tra la società italiana e quella spagnola sui test non distruttivi.
La "Conferenza Art'17" si adopererà per raggiungere gli obiettivi sopra menzionati di riunire insime delegati, conservation scientist e curatori, storici dell'arte, scienziati analitici e ricercatori dell'architettura. Questi esperti si incontreranno a Sharjah, un centro regionale per i beni e le attività culturali.
Il programma tecnico e scientifico comprenderà sia presentazioni su invito e che presentazioni brevi e sessioni poster che metteranno in evidenza
l'applicazione delle indagini non disruttive in un gran numero di campi importanti.

ART’17 - 2th International Conference on non-destructive investigations and microanalysis for the diagnostics and conservation of cultural and environmental heritage

Due to organizative matters the ART’17 International Conference previously scheduled for March 7th/9th, 2017 in Sharjah has to be moved and postponed; therefore. The Conference will be held in Italy probably during the second half of 2017 (more likely in November 2017)
AIPnD is organizing, together with AUS (American University of Sharjah) and ICCROM-ATHAR (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property - Architectural and Archaeological Tangible Heritage in the Arab Region), the ART’17 International Conference that will be held in Sharjah (UAE) in March 2017.
Non-destructive analysis has turned out to be a crucial method to achieve more successful and long-lasting preservation of works of art and environmental heritage. With the aim to promote education and competence in this field, the "art" logo was created over twenty-five years ago and it still represents, in national and international meetings, one of the most successful initiatives in this area. The desired synergy among experts will lead to continuous development of new scientific methods in the fields of preservation, reconstruction and diagnostics of cultural and environmental artworks.
The last edition of the "art Conference" was held in Madrid in June 2014 and promoted cooperation among different specialists coming from all over the world and it strengthened the relationship especially between Italian and Spanish Society for NDT. The "art'17 Conference" will strive to achieve the above –mentioned goals by bringing together delegates, conservation scientists and curators, art historians, analytical scientists and architectural researchers. These experts will meet in Sharjah, a regional hub for cultural heritage and activities.
The technical and scientific programme will include both invited and short presentations and poster sessions that will highlight the application of NDT in a large number of important sectors.
