The conference "H-BI(M)ON - Heritage – Building Information Modeling/MONitoring – From Reality to Model and back" aims to promote interdisciplinary discussions on the complex topic of digital information modelling applied to Cultural Heritage.
It will showcase cutting-edge research by facilitating exchanges among various research groups, focusing on the concept of a "digital twin" for historic buildings and its applications in conservation. Key topics include semantics, structural analysis, damage monitoring, model validation, and data management, with the goal of enhancing current processes and fostering new, shared methodologies and approaches.
CIPA Heritage Documentation will be represented by Fulvio Rinaudo (President) and Grazia Tucci (Vice President).
At the conclusion of the conference, participants will have the opportunity to publish a paper in Italian in the proceedings volume (Collana MADLab – Edizioni Quasar). Additionally, a special issue of the journal MDPI - Heritage will be opened for submissions.
Venue: Centro Santa Elisabetta – Parco Area delle Scienze 95, CAMPUS Universitario – PARMA. During the technical sessions, remote access will also be available.
